The Big Reveal! My Book!
It is official! I will be a published author by the end of next month!
It has been a long, winding journey, and I have learned so much along the way. I have done things that took courage like letting myself believe enough in my book to hire an editor and letting a stranger read my story! I have struggled with team members flaking out in the middle of the project. I have waded through thousands of pages of information on ISBN, copyright, formatting, distribution, and so on and have come out the other side. I have met and worked with some fabulously talented people – Candace Johnson and Evan Henderson! And I have leaned on friends and family to encourage me when I was feeling like I should just stick my story back in a drawer!
I am a little wiser than when I started. I am just as scared and just as excited as I have been throughout this journey. But it is time to let my baby go out into the world. 🙂
After spending last weekend, doing one final edit review and uploading the various formats to the various platforms for sale, I can officially announce that the release date for Far Away and Ever After is going to be early October! (I will have a specific date later this week once I review the print proof.) It will be available in paperback through Amazon.com, and in e-book formats everywhere. Pre-orders are available.
Please take a moment to stop on over to Amazon at some point this month and check out the page. Let me know what you like or don’t like. Stop over to my author page and let me know, too! This is a still a learning experience for me. If you are kind enough to take the time to read my story, please post a review on the retailer site that you purchased it from.
I’ve spent a lifetime thinking “I wish” and over the last few years I have finally begun to learn to get out of my way and say “I will.” For anyone else who has always dreamed of writing a book….it’s time. For me? Book 2 has been written but exists only in the first draft form at the moment, but I plan on starting the first rewrites by November 1st. That is the trick after all — keep on writing! 🙂

Thanks, Cindy!!
I am so very excited for you, Cheryl. Your creative talents never cease to amaze me!
Miss you, my friend!! 🙂
I’m so happy for you, Cheryl! I looked for it on Amazon so I could preorder, but I can’t find it under either the title or your name. Can you post the link?
No pre-orders available. I would have had to sign up exclusively with Amazon for 3 months to do that! And I discovered the author and book pages don’t show up til you release it. Soooo…. 10/5 you will find me! 🙂
Then I’ll be stalking Amazon on October 5! Can’t wait!
I am rereading the proof front to back and found a typos, ack!! Fixing that before 10/5! 😊
Love the cover. Can’t wait to see the final book. The first draft was exciting a while back. You have been working very hard. Keep them coming.
Thanks, Mom! ❤️
Congratulations! I am excited to hear more about your success. 🙂
